Project Overview
This project involves the installation of approximately 2,184 square feet of unfinished No. 2 Common Grade Red Oak hardwood flooring, along with the installation of 8 linear feet of Red Oak stair nosing. The scope includes underlayment installation, professional nail-down hardwood installation, sanding, staining, and finishing to create a seamless and durable hardwood floor throughout the home.
Scope of Work
The project begins with the delivery of all flooring materials and the installation of black felt paper underlayment to provide a moisture barrier and improve floor performance.
New unfinished No. 2 Common Grade Red Oak hardwood flooring will be installed using a professional nail-down method with the appropriate flooring staples and finish nails to ensure a secure and long-lasting installation.
Once the installation is complete, the new hardwood flooring will be sanded smooth, stained in the homeowner's selected color, and finished with multiple coats of protective finish for durability and a beautiful appearance.
The project also includes the installation and refinishing of 8-foot Red Oak stair nosings to provide a clean, matching transition between the flooring and staircase.
All work areas will be cleaned, and project-related debris will be removed upon completion.
